Nifty future chart

Nifty future has opened with gap on Friday’s trading session, I have been bullish on Nifty and bank nifty from last 2 – 3 months, yet this is another confirmation for us to be on long side only. As looking into the chart of NSE’s Nifty I found a crossover on slow stochastic indicator and this crossover is for bull traders to take long positions. Trading strategy one must follow is to buy into nifty future on every dips. For trading stocks, I would like to buy banking stocks like ICICI bank, HDFC bank, Yes bank and Kotak bank.

My trading idea: Buy Nifty future around 5300 – 5340 for positional target as 5440 and 5496 and then 5625. Stop loss must be placed below 5270 level. See the below chart of Nifty Spot and also see the crossover forming there. Article Published on 9 Sept 2012.

Next Strong Resistance for Nifty futures at 4960 level, Short Selling Opportunity

by Bhaveek Patel

Nifty future last week bounced from very good support level, but this bounce was a technical bounce and fundamentals had not changed at all. I am still of the view that nifty will be add some selling pressure around 4960 levels as level being strong resistance here. In the below chart the retracement of November 2010 high to low of December 2012, 23.6% level falls at 4967. Also retracement from low of December 2012 to […]

Buy Nifty future for intraday, Positive Divergence on 1 Hour chart

by Bhaveek Patel

Nifty future today was trading positive with about 20 points gain compared to previous close. On Hourly chart, I saw positive divergence being formed and in am waiting for bounce in next few candles. As soon as Euro Zone GDP data was released this trade became valid from global market front, euro zone has posted GDP growth at 0%, at least better than contraction (negative growth). So my intraday strategy will be buy nifty future […]

Nifty future trading at 200 days Simple moving Average, S&P Downgrades India to Negative

by Bhaveek Patel

Standard and Poor’s (S&P) has today downgraded India’s outlook to negative. As there were many factors responsible for slowdown in foreign investment and also GDP growth which has direct impact on the trade deficit (current account deficit). Now current rating for India is BBB- and has also been warned that India still has 1 out of 3 chance of a downgrade, if situation further become worse. Just after release of this news Nifty went down […]

Trading Nifty Options (Call Put) with Levels of Nifty Future Chart

by Bhaveek Patel

Nifty future involves more risk as compared to nifty option (call put), most of the traders as attracted towards nifty options. If you apply technical analysis on nifty options then it won’t work, support and resistance may go wrong. So instead of performing analysis on nifty option trader must look at nifty future, then depending on the analysis and risk traders can choose to go with nifty call option or put option. It’s like you […]

Nifty future has formed double top pattern last week, Expect reversal

by Bhaveek Patel

On daily charts we have seen that nifty future has formed a double top pattern (A kind of short term reversal pattern), we are of view that nifty future is more likely to see a reversal in trend. If you go through recent fundamental changes, there are also signalling the change in short term trend, like inflation has gone below 7% now, IIP data has come above 6% and is much in line to estimates […]
