Good news for Traders, Now traders can access the US markets index futures, from their existing trading accounts, as NSE F&O will include S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average. These are most liquid and most popular stock market index across the globe. This inclusion will be done on NSE F&O and the contracts will be available for trading from 29 August 2011. How much margin is required is still not known, but this two indices will be very attractive for trading due to large swings and they are most technical indices (follows technical analysis). We are not sure what will be time for trading this two American indices. Technical charts suggests that Dow Jones will keep correcting and continuing its down trend. So we should be looking for only selling opportunities till this downtrend is valid. This will enable traders to hedge the global risk in trading, also confidence of traders will increase. Nifty futures traders will be large beneficiary of this inclusion, as nifty futures traders can hedge their trading positions with the Dow Jones index in the uncertain markets.
Today Nifty futures will be trading with implied volatility, due to very important Economic data about GDP will be release in US today. So we may see some extra volatility in today’s session.

It means we can now trade DOW and S&P500, but why they didnt include NASDAQ, it is also very liquid index. So now I can stop trading in forex markets for US indices.

Prakash, we can now trade in Dow jones and S&P 500 index. I am not sure why they not included NASDAQ.
We are also planning to start advice on Dow jones futures from this month.

Dow can surge to 12000 levels before cracking down, most the stocks are looking tired, its time to be cautious on longs.
Bhaveek Patel says
Well your opinion is right, as trend for most of global markets is bearish, so pullback rally cannot be treated as trend reversal. Instead of building long positions, traders should look for selling opportunities.

DJIA is vry strong support level at 10600 and resistance at 11500 and i think DJIA moves between this range for some time and its a good opportunity to make money.

Jaspreet you are very correct in your analysis, you can use slow stochastic indicator to time your entries.

Bhaveek Patel says
The Global index contracts (sp500 and DJIA index) are traded like nifty futures or like any other futures contract. For leverage you can contact your stock broker as it depends from brokers to brokers. In our advice traders must on trade on that high leverage (1:100). If you have any further query let us know.
