Trader friends, today I have a good news for you today I am sharing NSE F&O database that has NSE stock futures data of all the scrips (stocks) available in NSE F&O segment. This database has EOD (End of the day) data and includes data since the inception of Futures and Options segment on NSE. Also note that the stocks as already adjusted for stock splits and any stock discontinued from F&O has been removed from this data base. Another special thing about this database is you can see daily open interest levels on charts as it includes open interest also. From today onwards check nifty future open interest levels daily on your amibroker itself.

How to load database to Amibroker:
- Extract the zipped (compressed) file to c:/Program Files/Amibroker/
- Start Amibroker program.
- Goto File menu > Open Database.
- Select folder where you just extracted file in step 1 and click OK.
- Now your NSE F&O database is open.

Hi Rajesh, why are you doing analysis on nifty options, Instead you do analysis on Nifty future levels and then take appropriate position on nifty options. Simple. 🙂

Dear Bhaveek, I have installed Data down loader for NSE IEOD. When I download data,it shows data down loaded in the folder but when I try to update the same in Amibroker it is not updated. I shall be thankful if you can provide me support for the same.

Hi, use the Import Data option and select the data files and import into the Amibroker to update your data. Then only the database updates.

How can I view the chart say for example that of DLF in AMIBROKER screen. Shall I be able to view the chart data only during market Hrs? Is there any Auto BUY/SELL signals indication available?

Hi, Mohanan,
You can use Amibroker for Intraday or EOD analysis. To display a particular stock you just type the name in search box located at the top middle of the screen or use the stock name in the left side pane of Amibroker.

Dear Bhaveek, thank you for doing this noble service for the sake of all retail traders. I need urgently information regarding Open interest real time data for SBIN CE and PE options. All data I tried from NSE site or even some other site is only upto previous day’s data only. I couldn’t see the actual change in OI data as a result of today’s trading which I need at least by EOD each day, if not in real time. Please advise. I tried calling your phone, but nobody picking.
