After long waiting, I am here to share the MCX EOD database for amibroker. It is updated till 30.4.2014. As data downloader is no longer working due to changes in the link at mcxindia.com. So I have downloaded all the data manually and came up with this amibroker database.
Also, note that all the inactive scrips have been deleted by me.
HOW TO USE:
- Simply unzip above file.
- Start Amibroker and goto to file menu.
- Select open database, now select the folder where you have extracted files. click on Ok.

i tried the software that was in folder but it downlaoded 0 kb file
I have updated it till 16 May 2014. Its manual method to update, you need to collect data from mcxindia website and then put it on a txt file…
need to know how you update the data of mcx eod database in amibroker. i couldn’t find any software for downloading the data.
How can I convert it to .csv or .xls format…

I would like to learn programming software for below purpose
1. Download EOD data and manipulating the data and convert to read in other charting software like metastock, amibroker etc
2. Download real-time data from Odin and feed into charting software.
I have planned to learn the programming software start from scratch. I am not a software guy however I hope I can learn and do.
Could you please recommend right software.
I am confusing to choose C++ or Java or Dot.net and even python.
Your opinion will be highly appreciated.
