Why Positional Trade is better than Intraday Trading in Nifty Future

By Bhaveek Patel 4 Comments

I am a full time trader and investor, having more than 9 years of trading experience in different financial assets. I have tried different types of trading strategies in different market environment. What my observation was, that positional based trading for nifty future is far more better than intraday trading in a long run. Statistically if you have large amount of data for analysis then your accuracy increases, while small amount of data may give lower accuracy.

Why positional trade:

On Nifty future intraday chart, the data is very less as compared to weekly chart which is popularly used by positional traders. This is simple proof that positional trading is far better than intraday trading. Positional trading can help to reduce the market noise from your trading portfolio. As in intraday trade there can be much volatility, which can be bad for your risk management plan. You can also do some paper trading, take 20 trades on nifty future intraday chart and 20 trades on weekly chart of nifty future. You will get very clear idea on how nifty future positional trading is much better than nifty future intraday trading.

You can now open a trading account which offers ZERO brokerage on delivery based trading.

Positive Asian markets as geopolitical tensions cooled off a bit influenced trading sentiments here. Besides, a fresh spell of buying by retail investors and uninterrupted buying by domestic institutional investors (DIIs) helped recover the market.
